"She won’t rest until she’s sent every walking corpse back to its grave. Forever.

Had anyone told Alice Bell that her entire life would change course between one heartbeat and the next, she would have laughed. From blissful to tragic, innocent to ruined? Please. But that’s all it took. One heartbeat. A blink, a breath, a second, and everything she knew and loved was gone.

Her father was right. The monsters are real….

To avenge her family, Ali must learn to fight the undead. To survive, she must learn to trust the baddest of the bad boys, Cole Holland. But Cole has secrets of his own, and if Ali isn’t careful, those secrets might just prove to be more dangerous than the zombies…."

Alice in Zombieland is a great read for a refreshing yet exhilarating evening. It's a great snow storm book to get sucked into as you warm up. I couldn't put it down.

It was interesting... I was kind of confused about some parts but caught on eventually. At first I thought this book was going to be like watching paint dry. There was no kick ass zombie action, Ali was being a brat and Cole was being over controlling and manipulative. But as the characters and plot progressed it came together and the tone changed. I wasn't aggravated with the characters but was instead then able to connect with them. I got my zombie ass kicking!!
Some part of me wanted this to be a Rose-Dimitri badass trainer duo tension situation and those high hopes ended in disappointment. In the end, weighing the good and the bad, I was pleased. The characters were quite funny and intriguing, especially the secondary ones.

Also the inside pattern and cover are beautiful which deserves a star in of itself.

I can't wait for the next one!

Favorite Character: All of them really. But I guess it would be Kat or Frosty.
